update

No, that figure is the size of the binary data that you hand enter into RAM when rebooting every time. It has nothing to do with "almost there".

Getting that data to "self load" is difficult in the environment provided, and requires an exploit that is obviously well hidden.

Here is an analogy:
You have been at Disneyland all day, and when you exit the gate to go back to the hotel, you realize your jailbroken iPod Touch 2G is missing. Here are the facts in this hypothetical situation:
1) It fell out of your pocket.
2) It still remains within the borders of the property.
3) Nobody has taken possession of your iPod.

Answer these 2 questions based on the available information:
1) How long will it take to find your iPod?
2) Exactly when will you be 1/2 way done finding your iPod?

Don't forget to "update" everyone at 30 min intervals during the search, because people want to know how close you are to finding your iPod.

This analogy demonstrates how ridiculous it is, asking for updates, or guessing they are "1/2 way done".

Re: You wanted an update

Hahahaha I know some idiot on a chat room just told me that now he upened the courage to tell me ur right bam....

Re: You wanted an update

Why don't you restore it and then rejailbreak it.....The Best Thing!!!!!

Re: You wanted an update

Shadow, you're so misinformed. Always have been. The dongle, according to past posts by the iPhone Dev Team, is like an external booter for the iPod touch 2G. So you can boot on the fly.

Re: You wanted an update

i need help please. whenever i turn on my iPod touch by applying the patches, it shows the apple logo but then just turns off without showing the home screen. what do i do?
